Brunel Hurricanes Talent trials are an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their ability in a competitive environment.

To be successful in the trial, Anita Hollman (Brunel Hurricanes Talent Head Coach) and the select committee will expect players to demonstrate the following;

1. A high level of fitness with a physical presence on the court.

2. Hunger for the ball with an ability to intercept the ball.

3. Speed on the ball with control and accuracy.

4. Good decision making under pressure

Last year’s Brunel talent side were captained by England Under19 athlete Jade Forbes-Wattley who was also selected for the Brunel Hurricanes senior squad proving that talented athletes can earn plenty of opportunities at Brunel.  Now head coach Hollman is excited about delving in to London and the South East’s plethora of ability, she stated; “The region’s talent runs so deep that I am very excited about tapping in to it and finding those players with potential and forming the new squad.  It’s an exciting time and I can’t wait for the challenges that lie ahead”.
